Yes. We quote to the strata manager and committee's scope, often taken from a building report, and start on an approved work order. Scaffold or lifts are a separate allowance, render and carpentry repairs are provisional sums at hourly rates, and progress claims follow the NSW Security of Payment Act.
Yes. We paint shops, offices and hospitality venues after hours and on weekends so the business keeps trading. It is priced as after-hours work on the quote, and we complete any site inductions and follow the building's rules alongside our own.
Usually not, unless it is a heritage item. The City of Sydney's heritage conservation area repainting guidelines say you do not need permission to repaint unless your building is heritage listed or in Millers Point or Dawes Point. A heritage-listed building needs development consent or a written exemption from the City. The guidelines also say not to paint face brickwork, tiles or stone. Check with the City's duty planner if you are unsure.
