Under clause 5.10(3) of the Randwick Local Environmental Plan 2012, council can confirm in writing that minor or maintenance work does not need consent, and Randwick City Council's heritage controls list repainting already-painted surfaces as work for a Heritage Exemption Certificate, obtained before work starts. Original face brick and sandstone must not be painted. Confirm with council before we begin.
