Leichhardt sits five kilometres west of the CBD. Compared with Balmain or Annandale, it has more single-storey detached houses on larger lots, alongside terraces, semis and apartments, and its main shopping strip runs along Norton Street, north of Parramatta Road.

We assume any home built before 1970 has lead paint until it is tested. That means wet sanding and wet scraping only, sealed-off work areas, P2 respirators, and every flake and sheet of plastic bagged and taken away. Lead work is priced and agreed with you before it starts.

Under clause 5.10(3) of the Inner West Local Environmental Plan 2022, Inner West Council can issue a Heritage Exemption Certificate for repainting existing painted surfaces on a heritage item or in a heritage conservation area, in a colour scheme that suits the area and the age of the building. Painting surfaces that have never been painted is not covered. We are painters, not planners, so confirm with council before work starts. We can supply the colour schedule and scope for your application.
Yes. We work after hours and on weekends for shops, restaurants and offices so the business keeps trading. It is priced as after-hours work on the quote, and the site is left clean and safe for opening each morning.
